The Friends of Patrick Eagan Park share and support your vision for the Caponi Art Park and your wish to ensure that it remain an everlasting asset to our community.

In order to secure this vision, we are prepared to serve as advocates for the park, as necessary, through a public outreach and education campaign. We would like you to know that the members of Friends of Patrick Eagan Park are committed to seeing your vision realized and will do everything within our power to ensure a successful outcome, including lobbying before the Eagan City Council on your behalf.

Mayor Geagan has recently intimated that if all else fails, he would support a citywide referendum that would allow the citizens of Eagan to express their desire to sustain this invaluable resource within the Eagan Core Greenway. This is where our willingness to educate the public on the value of the Art Park could be particularly effective.

The mission of the Caponi Art Park has nurtured and inspired people through its healing combination of art and nature for over thirty years. It is our sincere hope that all you have given to this region is rewarded and returned to you through the ultimate preservation of Caponi Art Park for perpetuity.
