"Friends" Focus Attention on Mr. McCarthy's Wishes

Mr. Patrick McCarthy
1275 Deerwood Drive
Eagan, Minnesota 55123

Dear Patrick,

Spring is the season of hope.

For farmers it has always been a time of preparation and promise. Preparing the land, to sow the seed, with the hope of a bountiful harvest. For the Friends of the Eagan Core Greenway this spring season is also a time of preparation and promise, bringing renewed strength and resolve to our commitment to help you realize your goal of preserving the McCarthy Farm.

The Friends of the Eagan Core Greenway share your vision and hope of preservation for the McCarthy Farm and our efforts this year will be fully dedicated to supporting and fulfilling that goal.

The historical landscape and physical beauty of the McCarthy land has an undeniable importance to our community environmentally, as well as in the preservation of the stories it chronicles about the people who came before us in this area. You and your ancestors looked to the land in the spring for what it would bring forth with hard work and dedication. This spring we rededicate ourselves to the necessary work that will help you preserve it.

There's much wisdom in the old Irish proverb, "Two shorten the road." Together we will work to try and help you realize your dream.
