Tax Dollars Shouldn't Be Used for Golf Course
To the editor:
Has private investment ever been considered for the proposed golf course? I don't understand the principle of using tax dollars to build the big, new park and then paying a committee more money to research the destruction of an existing park in order to build a golf course.
With all the failing school budgets in our schools, do we really need a new golf course? We just passed a levy for $97 million. Do we need better schools or a new golf course? Kids, golf, kids, golf .... hmmm---it seems clear to me. We have plenty of other golf courses in the area. Just what exactly are Eagan's priorities?
